I just have to say that I really am blown away by our little boy. He is quite a daredevil and he is so very entertaining. Friday night at swimming, I watched him do something new. Scared me, but I let him do it anyways. He’s now tall enough that he can walk in the pool without our help. Well, he’s walking along and sure enough, under the water his whole head goes. By the time I reached for him, he had popped back up, all on his own with a big smile on his face. It just amazes me that he will do stuff like that without us really showing him how to do it. He proceeded to do it several more times while we were there. It really freaks me out, but it’s good that he’s comfortable enought to do it. I just don’t want him getting over cocky in the water. He really doesn’t realize what the consequences of his actions could be.
He likes to climb and jump on anything he can. He likes to get on top of the empty upside down clothes basket when it’s on our bed and jump on it. Oh, an now that he can get on the chairs, well standing on top of the table is going to be his next favourite thing I’m sure. I just have to try and not let him see my fears, and let him enjoy being a little boy.
