This is more of a quick update post than anything.
So where are we with baby #2? Well, let’s see. Tamara bought her a toddler bed since it was on sale. She won’t be in it for a few years but the price was right. Here’s to hoping Dora is still popular then otherwise a paint job will be in order.
Tamara herself is already feeling the pains of pregnancy. From aches, to pains, to some odd dizziness (that’s a little odd so we’ll keep an eye on it) to the occasional bout of heartburn. She’s been battling the aches for awhile. In fact she keeps saying that she feels like she’s 9 months pregnant already. I keep teasing her that the baby is gonna come out at 12-14 pounds. I don’t think she likes that idea.
The work on moving Dylan out of her room has begun. We’ve cleaned out our old computer room and as soon as it is painted and clean, the baby’s room will become empty and in need of a crib. We are going to buy another crib but just a basic one since we already have a bed for her.
I bought her a giant stuffed ladybug.
Starting to wonder how we’re going to handle the two of them. There are days when one child is hard enough but throw in another one and it will get more complicated. I’m sure we’ll do fine.
One way or another, we will not be producing any more children after she’s born.
I’ve decided to take parental leave from work once the baby is born. Unsure of how long but a few months for sure. If anything it will give me the summer off with the family and quality time with the baby.
Hmmmmm. I guess that’s it for now.
