Let me tell you, my first week back has been a mixed bag. There was a part of me that was really looking forward to coming back to work and having some more structured schedule to my days. You know, get up, go to work, work, come home, have supper, etc. Sometimes a routine is a good thing. Well, the routine is fine, what I didn’t expect was the fatigue.
After not having to get up every morning and work my brain for six months, I find myself completely exhautsed by the end of the day. In fact by the time lunch comes, I’m pretty much ready to go to bed. I had no idea that it would be this tiring to get my body and head back into work.
Everyday right now is tiring so I am hoping that as the next week or so goes by, I get myself back to normal.
In work related news, you can tell I have been away for awhile because yesterday I could barely remember how to even DO some of my work it had been so long. Definitely out of practice.
