One heck of a powertrail

An interesting topic came up at one of the local breakfasts and then again at the beer and wing nite the other night. It has to do with a new powertrail that has appeared in Nevada. A post was made about this trail on the ACGA forums and has since stirred some interesting conversations about such a trail.

A user named Ckayaks has two bookmarks for at least a big chunk of that powertrail. The series is apparently called “Trail of the Gods” and each cache is named after a god of some kind. The combined totals of the two bookmarks bring the cache totals to 537 but there are also other powertrails that connect to this one so the total cache count is definitely much higher.

Cache sizes apparently vary as I saw both small and micros listed but I have not gone through much of them. For anyone who would be interested in some serious power caching, this is definitely the trail for it. I suspect it would be very easy to set a record for most caches in a day via this trail.
