Log In To Cache Up NB Using Your GC Login

I have been waiting a long time to finally be able to release this to the general public. Today I am happy to announce that through the Geocaching LIVE partnership with Groundspeak, Cache Up NB has been upgraded to now allow you to use your www.geocaching.com login on Cache Up NB. What does that mean exactly? Well, here’s the breakdown.

Cache Up NB has always been about our geocaching community. So, as part of that, we’ve always encouraged users to register on this website using their GC names. The registration process was never required to view the site but was required if you wanted to comment or post anything. This registration process always required people to create yet another username/password combination for yet another website. For many people who don’t visit often, they’d forget their username/password and perhaps not bother to login because of this.

We have now changed this so that all users (both new and old) can now log in using their same username and password they use on www.geocaching.com. What exactly does that mean? It means you no longer need to remember another username and password when using Cache Up NB. You can simply log in the same way you log into Geocaching.com and you’ll be logged in here.
