In case you haven’t heard, there’s a mega coming up in Moncton later this year. We’ve been working hard to provide all attendees with some great activities and things to do. Here’s an update on all things mega related.

  • We recently announced that Moncton, Riverview, and Dieppe have all committed to a coin challenge for the mega. You’ll have the chance to collect up to three free geocoins sponsored by the tri-communities. More details on this will be announced in the coming weeks.
  • Our calendar contest is in full swing. If you haven’t heard, head on over to our website and read all about it. Keep snapping those pictures for a chance to have yours included in a calendar available exclusively at the mega.
  • The M3 card auction will be starting very soon. You can bid on having your own logo/image/design added to the card you win and receive a complimentary deck. Some cards will be highly sought after so be sure to get your bids on. You can read all about the auction here.
  • Our TB race is in full swing. Be sure to check out the status of your bug by checking out the map on MaritimeMega.com.
  • You’ll be able to snag that elusive Lab cache icon at the mega. We’ll be running our own version of Moncton’s Race For Cache using Lab Caches for the event. Read our announcement here.
  • We are looking for volunteers! If you are interested in helping out with the mega, please feel free to fill out this form and we will be in touch with you. We need a lot of volunteers to make this event successful so if you can spare an hour here and there, please let us know.
  • We are also looking for some feedback on what you think the best caches or areas to cache in around Moncton are. We are compiling a list to provide to out of towners and would like as much feedback as possible. Please post a comment here with your thoughts on the best caching areas or best caches.
  • Lastly, keep your eyes peeled for our Satellite Event, Event. We’re hosting an event to get folks out to chat about possible satellite events for the mega. We encourage everyone to come out and share their ideas. We want your help!
    • As of this writing, the event has not been published yet.

That’s it for now folks! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. We are really getting excited about this year’s mega.
