In case you haven’t heard, there’s a mega event coming up in less than 3 months. Here’s a rundown on some of the latest updates with all things mega related:
- The card auction concludes tonite (May 4th) so get those bids in. There’s been a flurry of bidding activity going on today so keep your eyes on your cards. If you miss your chance to bid, you can pick up a deck in our store or at the event.
- Pre-registrations are still coming in and will be available until July 15th. But the merch in the store is going to start disappearing soon. Geocoins will go first, then other items as we get closer to the mega. If you want to guarantee getting some of the official merchandise, you need to pre-order.
- There will be 10 lab caches available during the day for the mega. 6 will be placed as part of a mini-Race For Cache activity. Others will be placed close to or at the event giving everyone a chance to snag that elusive lab cache icon.
- Signal will be in attendance so be sure to bring your camera and snap a picture with this great mascot.
- We are still looking for volunteers to help out at the event. If you think you can spare an hour or more, let us know
- Our TB race is in full swing and as of today, petitcache’s bug appears to be the closest. You’ll have to attend the event to see who wins. You can always check the status of the race here.
- A tentative list of seminars has been posted to the M3 website (English only, French is coming). Some new sessions have been confirmed along with some classics. Be aware that this list is tentative only and is subject to change. We hope to finalize it soon.
- We have a list of satellite events for the week prior to the mega. From lunches at Arby’s to a hike on the Dobson, and a car rally, we’ve got a ton of events. Keep your eyes open for these to start appearing soon.
As always you can read the latest news on the mega at our official website (available both in English and French), and our Facebook page.
That’s it for now. We’ll keep everyone posted as more information becomes available. Hope to see you at the mega!
