Cache Up NB is looking to submit a film for the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival. You can read all about it here. Last year we held an event to show off the films that were accepted for display. This year, we are hoping to submit one of our own.
With spring here, that means that in no time flat, Fundy National Park will be kicking off their season with our annual geocaching event. On the May long weekend, geocachers will be scouring all over Fundy National Park in search of a series of geocaches that will reward them with another trackable geocoin.
We’re looking for individuals who plan to be in attendance at the park during the kickoff weekend. Specifically we’re looking anyone who will be doing the hikes, finding the caches, and possibly even staying onsite at the campground that weekend.
We’re looking to find some folks who would be willing to record video of their excursions in Fundy that weekend and provide the video to us at the closing of the event on Saturday. It won’t require much from you beyond you using your smartphone or camera to record some video of your adventures within the park.
We’re also be looking for individuals who would be willing to appear on camera for a quick interview about their experience at Fundy.
If you would be willing to participate in this, please post a comment below to let us know if you can help us out. We will be reaching out to everyone who contacts us and let you know what you need to do and any other specifics.
Hopefully, if we have enough participation, and we can put together a decent enough film, our film would be shown all over the world at the various GIFF 2016 events that will be showcased later this year.
Let’s work together to try and show off what geocaching here in NB is all about!
