Bob was a mascot I had in my rec room as a teenager during the early to mid-1990s.
That room eventually became known as Bob’s Room. When anyone would refer to my house, it wasn’t Matt’s Place or Matt’s basement. It was always just Bob’s Room.
And for those who might remember the pre-internet BBS days, I had a BBS running out of my basement named Bob’s Room as well. When the time to branch out to the web came, bobsroom.com made the most sense to me for a website.
