So I come in to work today, and all is going well. I’m reading the news,
trying to wake up, and deciding on whether or not I wanna make the long
trip down to the cafeteria to get my morning coke. Seeing as I’m still
half asleep, I figure I should but I don’t bother. Then, I get requested
to come into the conference room. Uh oh. Good or bad? Turns out it was
neither. I come to find out that my boss has been given the boot and that
as of next Tuesday, I’ll have a new one. Talk about a surprise. Doesn’t
really surprise me that much because of the way she was handling the
workload but still. Let’s hope the new boss is nice!
On a change of subject, my trip to Halifax wasn’t what I thought it would
be. Had a flat tire on the way there, only had about 30 minutes to go for
a swim, and the casino was actually quite boring. I did however get some
much needed rest and did a lot of serious thinking while I was gone. I’m
much more at peace than I have been for awhile.
