*APPLAUSE* The week is over, well, after today that is. I think a big part of my cold is gone. I got a lot fo sleep and rest yesterday so I’m going to assume that that was a contributor to my feeling better today. My nose is almost clear. Not quite but enough that I can almost breathe through it now
Talked to my dad last night. It’s all confirmed. I am going to Edmonton in mid-July. I’ll be leaving Moncton on July 12th, and returning the 25th. I decided to fly after all. I found a damn good seat sale that cut the cost of the flight down by $450, so I thought that was a damn good deal. I also have a car rented for my time in Edmonton which will be nice since Dad has no vehicle and I’d like to get around town a bit to see things.
So I didn’t have enough on my Mastercard to pay for the ticket so I borrowed mom’s Visa and put it on hers and I’ll just pay her back over the next few weeks. Now it’s a matter of making sure I put enough money away to do a few things while I’m in Alberta. I plan on going for a drive to the Rockies to get some nice photos and probably go visit Gary & Cheez in Calgary, and Roy in Medicine Hat. It’s gonna be a wicked trip!
