For those of you who DON’T know what the Banff Springs Hotel is, it is this amazing resort in the town of Banff, Alberta. It’s set right in the middle of the Rockie mountains. The resort is not cheap either. Cheapest rooms start at $500/night, it’s pricey but what a hotel. Holy crap! VERY nice and VERY luxurious. I thought it was the hotel by Lake Louise but it’s location is even better than that
So, since I was planning on going down to Calgary & Medicine Hat anyway, I figured I’d spend a day in Banff and check out some of the sites, wildlife, and enjoy the amazing scenery. Since it may be a LONG time before I get to go back there, I figured why not splurge and go all out. So, I’ve got one night’s accomodations for the 18th of July and man, it is going to be sweet. I’ll make sure I get a ton of pictures!
In other news, I’ve discovered that I hate the Macintosh computer we have here at work. Curse you Paul Firlotte for your damn junk equipment you bought this place. We’re cursing Maison Mac to high hell last week and this week! It’s an amusing time here @ Norampac Moncton
