Yesterday was totally and completely exhausting. As I posted in a rant a long time ago, just because you don’t do physical labour, doesn’t mean your job isn’t tiring. The fact that I had to work yesterday blew. But, the fact that there were a 100 things going on and WAY too much to do made it go by fast. Only thing is, by the time I got home, I was so exhausted I slept for like 2 hours. Yes, it felt good, but it also meant that I couldn’t get to sleep when it was time to go to bed. So I’m feeling a little bit groggy this morning. I grabbed a can of Coke and am praying for the best.
Looks like it’s going to be a somewhat decent day outside today. This is good as I hate it when it’s insanely hot. But that beats snow anyday.
I started back on the MAME project. Sort of. I’ve decided that when I get back from my vacation, that’s where I’m going to put some money into. I’ve been wanting to get that thing started since last summer and I never got further than my corrugated mock-up I did. I’ve got access to some tools and just need to buy a slab of wood to get the control panel built. I’m also pondering whether to buy a newer cpu/motherboard or simply use the one out of that massive IBM case I have. It’s only a 233 but it would do the job fine. On the other hand, if I wanna use more modern games, I could buy a Celeron package REAL cheap and that would serve great in an arcade box. I’ll keep you posted
