The lovely 4th of July

Posted by on July 4, 2003

In the USA, today is independence day. Basically, it’s a celebration of the fact that way back when, the US became a country. Canada Day was on July 1st and as patriotic as I am, I didn’t bother celebrating jack. I guess it didn’t feel much like a holiday since I had to work. But, to my American friends & visitors, enjoy your day off work!

Along with it being the 4th of July, it’s also Friday. This means that of course, I am a happy camper and I will be enjoying the weekend as soon as possible. In fact, I only have a few hours of work to do and then the day will be over. Ok, maybe more than a few but at least I got the day going. I’m anxious to get my ass outta work and home for a nice long snooze and then maybe go out with the boys tonite. I’ll have to see how it goes.

I found my old car deck and sure enough, it is too big to fit into my computer case. However, if I mount it vertically, it will fit perfectly. The only problem is, I’d be sacrificing 4 drive bays for a tape deck. Plus, I wasn’t able to get the power working right yet but I am working on it. Hopefully soon you’ll see a cool picture of a tape deck wired to my PC.

On the Tormented front, I am hoping to have some more MP3’s posted to the website this weekend. I got some stuff out of storage hoping I’d find the proper wire I needed but no luck. I’ll have to buy an adapter which isn’t such a big deal. Regardless, it’s time to go do more work!
