I don’t normally post on the weekend but why not this time. I have a few moments and things are good so why not.
Weekend was slow but yet still good. Spent Friday night hanging out at Mike’s place and met his little girl Chelsea. Cute kid! We also had some piles of pizza and went for a drive around town later on. Friday night certainly brings out some of the interesting night life downtown. Wow!
Saturday was pretty laid back. I went to see Terminator 3 and I must say I enjoyed it. I like the fact that they went for a darker ending and it was a cool follow-up to T2. Not better, but not worse. I enjoyed it. Watched a pile of other movies that night and just sort of took it easy. Same thing goes for today. Went down to the cottage and had supper with the family. Took a walk along the beach and saw some more wildlife but also saw some beached whales. Ouch!
I only have 4 days left before my vacation starts and I am getting extremely anxious about it. I know that this week is going to be INSANELY slow because of the anticipation of Friday and then my flight outta here on Saturday. I’m hoping I can drown myself in work for the week and hopefully it will go by fast.
Oh! Almost forgot. Mike told me Tormented had their first jam (without Gary as he’s not here yet) and it was almost like they hadn’t even been apart for 7 years. Said they slipped right back into form and were jamming tunes out like mad. That’s awesome to hear. I can’t wait for the 31st! It WILL kick ass!
