The headline says it all. I’m excessively bored here at work today. It was a busy day but I’m getting a little frustrated and to be honest with you, it’s kind of depressing today. Sort of a long story on the reason behind that but regardless, I’m not in top form this afternoon.
Mom’s gone for the weekend down to the cottage and Tiny will be in and out I’m sure so I pretty much have the place to myself. I’m hoping to do some more tweaking on the new video card to try and find a decent compromise as far as captured video goes. I tried using Premiere last night and it threw up all over the video I had so I doubt I’ll be using that software anytime soon.
No new decent movies this weekend so I’ll prolly keep pretty low key. Not much going on as far as parties, or people going places so it will most likely be very boring and uneventful. Joy oh bliss. I do however have to get off my ass and do a few things. It’s just the ambition I need to find.
I have made the decision to put off the MAME cabinet for awhile. I was planning on buying some wood and stuff with the extra money I have. The only problem is, I have nowhere to actually build & store the cabinet. I figure my general idea right now is that I’ll put it off until I have a place of my own that I can work on it at my leisure. If I had the old Bob’s Room I could probably do work down there but no luck. So, MAME will have to wait. That’s ok though because I still have my controls and parts so when the right time comes, I will begin again.
I am getting psyched up a bit about working on some Tormented stuff. I know the band isn’t together but there’s still a lot of interest from people so I am putting together more stuff for them. As soon as I get the video straightened out on my new card, I’ll capture some cool clips for people to check out. Have to keep the file sizes down though.
I am rambling a bit today. Maybe it’s the weather. With all of this rainy, muggy, crappy weather, it doesn’t help a persons mood. I have a friend of mine who is very affected by the weather and I think I agree with her. Anyway, I should go find something to kill a little over an hours time. I need to keep busy.
