It's always good to be back home!

I made it back home on Sunday night. As always, NYC kicked some serious ass! We had a hell of a time finding a place to sleep so we didn’t, until we were on our way home. 40 hours was the amount of time I went without sleep and let me tell you, it hurt near the end.

NYC was different this time around. Times Square has a LOT more in it this time. There’s a lot more lights and plasma displays and stuff but it was still awesome to see. Me, Hosford, and his friend Walter, wandered around aimlessly like a lot of people do but we did end up near NBC studios which was cool, because we got to be in a Conan O’brien skit for his show. Turns out they were shooting a couple of scenes for some bit he’s got coming up and there was supposed to be a large crowd of people chasing Conan. The three of us signed the waivers necessary and joined the crowd. They yelled action, and we ran like hell! It was VERY cool. Saw Conan O’brien and DAMN that guy is tall. Holy! I have a pile of pictures that I haven’t copied off the camera yet so stay tuned for more on that

We also went to the Museum of Modern History which wasn’t a choice of mine but I am SO glad we went. There was a LOT of cool stuff there including sculptures, cool uniforms, temples, and lots of artwork. It was totally insane. I got a bunch more pictures of that.

Anyway, I got home around 8:30 on Sunday and I was tired. I’m still feeling some of it today and I suspect I’ll be a little off all week, but that’s ok. It was very worth it.
