Ok, not blogged up but plugged up. My damn sinuses are driving me nuts. What’s with the air lately? Everytime I turn around I’m sneezing and feeling awful. But it’s not just me. There’s plenty of other people I see around with the same problem. It sucks ass!
It’s Friday boys and girls. That means that when today ends, the weekend is near. I have no idea what’s going on this weekend but I do suspect that I may come into work to do a few things. Nothing major but there is some work that can only be done on downtime and I’d just assume get it done sooner rather than later. But of course I know that as soon as I wake up tomorrow, the last thing I’ll feel like doing is coming in here to work. But that’s ok.
I have a student coming in for an interview today. I’ll do my best to scare him. j/k. I’m hoping he’s not a tool because I could use a few extra hands around here with everything that’s been going on. It’s quite crazy actually. I’m glad that I’m not so bored anymore
I scheduled some appointments. A dentist appointment (ouch) and a consultation appointment about the laser eye surgery. I’ve been pondering the idea of the surgery ever since I got contacts. Plus, someone at work had it done and couldn’t stop going on about it. The place in town offers a lifetime guarantee so if you need more correction down the road, it doesn’t cost anything. The cost can be anywhere for $2500-$4000 but if you think about it. At $70/month for contacts, a $4000 operation would be paid in under 5 years. If I lived to be 80 and continued to wear contacts (unlikely at that age but for arguements sake lets say that), I’d be saving $42,000. I think it’s worth it 🙂 So my appointment is in early October. It should be cool.
I only have time for this posting now because I’m waiting for files to copy off one computer to the server and although it’s not a lot of stuff, on a slow computer, with a 10mb connection, using ftp with explorer, it takes an eternity. But, I haven’t done my morning inspections so I should get to it. Happy weekend folks!
