I have a huge congrads to send out to Chris & Angela who are now engaged. They got engaged a little over a week ago and apparently are planning the wedding for the 29th of February since that means they only have to celebrate their anniversary once every 4 years 😉 Huge congrads guys and I wish you the best!
Talk about rushed at the last minute. I SO didn’t want to get out of bed until I realized I was pretty much late for work. So here I am again in the realms of what I call my job..
It’ll probably be a day filled with more coding. I did a pile of PHP programming yesterday as I am working on a project to help me keep track of all the useless things that go on in this place. Nice little database and webpage will do the job admirably.
Yesterday was actually quite slow which is nice. It’s sort of like a calm before the storm. Next week and the weeks to follow are going to be quite busy so it’s nice to have a change of pace right before everything goes insane.
I received a package from TLC regarding the Lasik surgery I have an appointment for. It appears there’s a lot of stuff involved in it that I didn’t know. For one, if I do have it done, I have to go 3 days with no computer, driving, television, reading, or showers. My God! What’s left after that? I’m still contemplating the whole thing but I have an consultation appointment for the 3rd of October and I will learn all the ins and outs then. It’s kind of exciting really but I dunno if I’m up to the initial part. Looks pretty brutal after the surgery is done but it gets better quickly.
