2:05AM and I'm posting on the web

Ok, so I watched Bowling For Columbine tonite (kickass movie btw) and had to take it back to Blockbuster since it is due for tomorrow at 10am. I decide to go for a drive and while I’m driving I have a odd revelation.

I had a couple of old friends over tonite and I was showing them some pictures and videos and stuff. One of the videos I showed them was of Rounded Edges’ own video and the Gong Show performance that I’ve mentioned on here before. Well, after thinking about the evening, I realized that the song we did the video for, Hanging Above, was actually written more or less about one of the friends of mine that was here tonite. I had totally forgotten about it.

So I go for a drive and I try to remember all the lyrics. My friend had asked me if I actually understood what I was saying when I was singing and I did know the lyrics I just hadn’t thought about them in so long. So, after struggling to remember the lyrics to all the songs, I thought it would be a good idea to write them down. And since this page seems to be an archive of sorts of things I’ve done, I figured I’d post the lyrics here.

Now a warning should be issued. The first two songs listed are normal and actually have some pretty deep meaning to them and Hanging Above was really my first way of expressing my feelings in a song format. The rest of the tunes are just fun songs that we did. There is one tune, Sue, that anyone who knew the band knew what it is, is actually EXCESSIVELY vulgar, and I may remove it someday but the truth is, I sang it, it was fun at the time, and it made a lot of people laugh, so the hell with it. If you want to know more details about any of the tunes (for those of you who care), don’t hesitate to ask.
