I know I already posted today but the truth is, my day has gone straight down the tubes.
It was an ok day until about 11:30 this morning when I went to take out the next laptop to install Groupwise on. I open my closet here at work and what do I find. No laptop. I of course scratch my head and wonder where it may have gone to.
I dig through the piles of stuff in the closet and find no sign of the missing laptop. I figure maybe I might have left it in the server room where it was before. Nope. Nothing in there but the humm of my running servers. I then figure maybe it’s buried behind my desk with the rest of the extra computer parts. Nope. Nothing. Nadda. Zilch. Zippo
So, this pisses me off. There’s no sign of the laptop anywhere and by all accounts, it’s been stolen. I have not been able to trace it’s whereabouts anywhere in the building. I had to report this to my boss who then reported it to her boss. Fortunately, I wasn’t made to blame but I still feel responsible as it was my job to keep those things safe. Why the hell would anyone do that? Frig sakes!
Needless to say now my day has been pissed completely away and I’ll prolly be crank for the rest of it. Here’s to hoping something will brighten up my evening. Later folks!
