Wow! I totally forgot to update things today!
Nothing major going on today. Work has been SLOW so I have been trying to work on the new website. I wanted to convert my Rants section over to the new layout. I also wanted to be able to get more of the MDP stuff done but I dunno if I’ll have time today.
It’s been awhile since I posted a weird link and I was about to post a new one today and discovered that the Weird Links website is gone. This totally sucks. It was a cool site to find the oddest of things on the net. I may have to take up my own site and continue where this guy left off. It totally sucks!
It looks like it’s going to rain like mad tonite so that means no going outside for me. I’ll do my best to keep my ass inside watching incredibly degrading and pathetic television. Plus Star Trek. I found this little gadget and I may have to buy it for work. The potential is endless. Although, I still have my eye on this goodie that would be cool to fly around the office.
Even if you aren’t computer savvy, you have to appreciate the time and work put into this computer. Talk about a seriously cool looking PC. Takes up a bit much desk space for such a small board but still, very nice. On the topic of computer junk, I received a free 120GB hard drive from a local vendor. He will remain nameless but it was still cool. I double my drive space from 120 to 240 now. I might just take the 40 gig out and use it for a different machine. Who knows.
I’m sort of babbling today since there’s nothing going on and I have 2 1/2 hours to go before I can go home. Friday is my eye appointment where I will find out if I qualify for laser surgery. I’m a little nervous about it but hopefully all will go well. If it ends up that I am able to have the surgery I think I will probably try and have it done early next year. That’s of course assuming that my plans don’t change. I had something happen yesterday that I can’t discuss here but it may make big changes in my future depending on what happens.
Regardless, I think I’m gonna go do something…
