I dunno if anyone who reads this page will care, but I read this morning that Rod Roddy passed away. For anyone who doesn’t recognize the name, he was the flashy announcer guy on The Price Is Right. The famous “Come On Down!!!” guy. I’m not much for watching game shows but I did watch TPIR a lot when I was a kid and enjoyed it immensely. Rod had the coolest jackets!
Went for quite the walk last night. In fact, I was quite sore by the time I returned home. I must be getting old or I’m just horribly out of shape. Probably a bit of both.
I was going to schedule Friday afternoon off but alas, Friday is the last day of the month which translates into Accounting doing month end, which means I need to be here. BLAH! I’ll have to book the half day off another time. That blows. Plus, I have no vacation time left after that until March of next year.
The finale for Joe Schmo is on tonite. It should be rather interesting to see that poor guy learn the reality show he’s been on is totally fake. It’s somewhat mean but I think he’ll get a good laugh. Speaking of reality shows, what’s the deal with Fear Factor anyway? The last few eps have had some really pathetic gross out stunts. A lot of the same things they always do. Come on guys! Let’s get into some real gross stuff. Make someone eat a piece of turd, or something raunchy. Although, I gotta give ’em credit for that pig heart in the sea of eyeballs thing but still. Let’s get grosser!
