Friday has arrived. Even though it was a short week, it seemed like it took forever to reach us. It’s been a weird week. Some ups, downs, and all arounds. Very odd.
I have a week left before mom’s birthday and I haven’t done much planning for her party other than letting people know it’s happening. I suppose I should get off my ass and actually do something about it. I have no energy it seems.
Speaking of which, I mowed the front lawn last night and discovered a shitload of wasps under my front porch. We have suspected that there’s been a nest somewhere but we have not been able to confirm it. So last night, I emptied a full can of RAID wasp and hornet stuff under the deck and seriously pissed off the visitors. I didn’t get stung but some of those bugs were none too happy. Now to tackle the back yard. I think it’s time to invest in a new lawn mower. The one we have is a hand me down and it works, but barely. BLAH. Need something easier to push and lighter.
