While I was out hiding my caches for my race this weekend, I managed to grab a few for myself. I found once cache in the woods and it was hidden quite nicely.
That photo is of the tree where the cache was hidden. I have seen these kinds of hides before. In fact, the other one that I saw was by the same guy who hid this one. Check it out.
The “container” was lodged in the back of the mushroom with a screw in the tree where the little ring hangs on. Unless you actually go up close and look behind the mushroom, you’d never know something was hiding behind it 🙂
