Bottlecap micros

While in Fredericton for the Winter bash events, I heard a couple of conversation about these bottlecap micros which were apparently quite popular in that area. I had never seen one but I heard a few people talking about cutting a bottle up and using the cap somehow to make a micro container. I had since forgotten all about it.

This morning I saw a post on the official geocaching forum about these and there was a link to a site that actually gives you a fairly good step-by-step instruction of how to build these.

When I saw what they were doing, it reminded me of what I had heard about in Fredericton. I am not sure if this is exactly the same thing that was done there but it is a need, and relatively inexpensive way to make some decent micro cache containers.

You can read the very well written how to article from this link.
