We live in a province where caches are abundant. In fact, some areas are more abundant than others but as a general rule, with more than 8,000 caches in our province, there’s got to be at least a few here and there that stick out in your mind.
Now is your chance to provide some feedback on some of the absolute BEST caches our province has to offer. With so many around us, we should be able to come up with our own list of favorites. Yes, there are favorites within the geocaching website, but this is a chance to put a bit more into it. Here’s what I am looking for from ALL of you.
- 10 of your favorite traditional caches
- 5-10 of your favorite puzzle caches
- 1-10 of your favorite Earthcaches
- 1-10 of your favorite virtual caches
- 1-10 of your favorite multi-caches
- 3-10 of your favorite event/CITO caches
- 1-5 of your favorite “series” of caches
- 1-10 of your favorite Wherigo/other
- This is a catch all for Wherigo and any other caches that you deem appropriate
There are no restrictions on what caches you may choose for your own favorites. They can be active caches or long since archived. However, if you do pick an archived cache as one of your faves, please include an additional active cache as a favorite. The only other requirement is that they have to have been hidden in New Brunswick.
For all of your faves, please include at least a quick one liner about why you consider it a favorite. You can post your answers here (preferably) or contact me directly through my geocaching.com account with your answers. I would request you include the GC code for each cache to make it easier to look the details up. Everyone who gives answers will be contacted by me directly later for more information about your answers.
We don’t often get the opportunity to share about what caches we love the most so this is a good chance for you to let people know what you think are the best caches/events our province has to offer.
All of the data being compiled from this list will be used for a future project sponsored by Cache Up NB. No, this is not an “award” nomination post or anything like that. This is more about gathering as much information about the best caches we have.
So let’s get started. What are your faves?
